Flower Fusion Lipstick
Origins found Flower Wax, the same extraordinary extracts that keep flowers flourishing despite driest conditions and formidable foes, and formulated them into this petal-pushing lip color. In this patent-pending technology, a well-spring of floral waxes including Jasmine, Lavender, Rose, Raspberry, Violet and Orange Blossom blended with other botanical waxes create a creamy cushion of color that glides on with ease to pamper and perfect your pout. And fresh-feeling coverage shines on, stays comfortably put for hours of color-true wear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SuperKat from Flower Fusion is fine, but I miss Rain and Shine! How I miss Rain and Shine! I have very fair skin, brown hair with blonde highlights, and green eyes. My favorite shades were Brilliant Bronze, Plum Luck, Sienna and Go Blonde. Rain and Shine didn't stay on well, but I would reapply often and I loved how it felt more like smooth lip balm than lipstick. Flower Fusion definitely feels more like lipstick-not as silky. I like Sweet Pea, Petunia and Tea Rose. But I have yet to find shades that replace the Rain and Shine shades I loved so much. Origins, I really wish you'd bring back Rain and Shine! It would also be helpful to have lipstick samples to try at home (even though I know I can return what I don't like).

Rated 1 out of 5 by Shena78 from I miss my Rain and Shine I have used Origins Rain and Shine lipstick for 20 years since I was 18 years old. I absolutely loved the moist smooth coverage, sheer but buildable color, and minty fresh taste. Also I am a woman of color ,African American and Native American, with brown hair medium brown eyes the best shade I have found to match my complexion was Sherry Baby. I have attempted to find a color match with your new line of lipstick and tried both the Calla Lilly and Mulberry shades that were suggested. Neither worked please bring back the rain and shine line. It was well liked by many.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Sugar from Please bring back Rain or Shine! It's just that nothing compares to Rain or Shine. Smooth and so moisturizing with a slightly minty tingle. Wore nothing but Sugared Toffee for at least 25 years. In it's place I prefer your Liquid Lip Color in Really Rosy. It's not as great as Rain or Shine, nothing is, but at least it's moisturizing and minty. I've been waiting patiently for you to bring back Rain or Shine, because I know you will -- you must! We all love it so. So can you tell us when that will be please? And if you don't intend to bring it back please be considerate and let us know that too so we can finally stop asking for it. Thanks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LessIsBetter from Discontinued Products Being in business I'm aware there are strategies behind why some products stay and others go. Like others have written Flower Fusion is more like other lipsticks out there. By removing your Rain and Shine lipstick along with other products that's I've purchased over the years is almost the last straw or stick shall I say! I tried several colors of Rain and Shine, settling very happily on having many tubes of Pink Sparkle and Plum Perfect stashed in various totes, purses and desks... and now I'm having to do it all over again with a new product. Rather than encouraging me to try something new, it's making me wonder if someone else has something interesting. I'm not your main customer. I don't buy a lot of makeup and this is part of the reason. You're not making it easy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by CookieD from PLEEEASE....BRING BACK RAIN & SHINE!!! I wouldn't repurchase & actually tossed the one tube I had in Flower Fusion. The color was garish on, formula felt heavy & drying. I LOVE Rain & Shine, have four of them, went online to look at other colors & get another of the Sugared Toffee I already have. To my shock and HUGE disappointed, I've learned it's been discontinued! What??? Whyyyy??? It is the only lipstick I've been able to wear in years, that I'm not allergic. The colors stay true, wears well, is a great cross between lipstick & gloss, doesn't stain my lips or dry them out. I just don't understand why companies discontinue an item that people love, and leave just one selection in that category. I've been using Origins for 20+ years. Guess my search starts over & my money is spent elsewhere.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ginn from Discontinued colors I buy so many lipsticks in various shades trying to find my perfect colors that I feel good in. I had finally found them in Sienna, Cranberry and Sugared Toffee. These were all Rain & Shine. I bought out every one the store had when I heard they were going to be discontinued. Now here I am trying to figure it out all over again. Seems like you could have a comparison chart matching old colors to the new colors. I don't like all colors so it's a chore trying to figure out and also expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SpringBranchFirefly from Finally! Lipstick that performs as a lipbalm too. Until I discovered Flower Fusion lip color nearly all lipsticks made my lips chapped and irritated (I must be sensitive to an ingredient in most.) I love, love, love Flower Fusion lip color. It sooths my lips and I love the creamy, moist feel. The only thing that really leaves me bewildered is why Origins can't describe the color of the shades on their website. It's incredibly frustrating! In person the lipsticks look nothing like the colors that you see on the website. Petunia is a medium, brownish-peach, Tearose is a cool nude, Primrose is a brownish-red, Azalea is a pinkish rose with gold tones, and Dahlia is a warm, medium brick color, in my estimation. Origins, please add descriptions to the website - at least document whether the color is cool, warm, or neutral. I would try many more if I could tell by the description they were warm or neutral colors.

Rated 1 out of 5 by tshirttx from Something's wrong! Let me preface my review by saying that I have been a loyal customer of Origins for over 15 years, so it pains me to write this review. I decided I needed to after contacting Origins Customer Service but getting absolutely NO reply to my issue. If the rating system would allow, this product would receive ZERO stars. While the lipstick itself has been a favorite of mine for years (I probably own multiples of most of the colors), of late there is something wrong with the production of the lipsticks. The last 3 colors I have purchased have all broken off at the base of the tube shortly after purchase, rendering the lipstick a mess and virtually useless. And this has happened after one or two uses, prior to even twisting the tube to extent the lip product. Very frustrating as the lip product itself is wonderful. Please, please fix the problem, Origins!
