Rated 4 out of 5 by VMG10 from It does brighten! I purchased the Ginger-zing. It is a shimmer, yellow/peach color. My skin tone is medium, slightly olive and I wasn't sure the light color would show up on me, but it sure did! It goes on smoothly and dries quickly. It typically lasts all day, but it does crease in the eyelid a little bit (hence 4 stars.) I have to admit, it brightens up my light brown eyes and definitely gives my eyes a refreshed look. I tried all the colors before settling on this one. If you're unsure which one to try, go with Ginger-zing, it was the original "eye brightener" color and will look good on any skin tone and eye color. A true home run!

Rated 5 out of 5 by babylurose from The Best! I love this eyeshadow. It glides on easily with your fingertip and blends with the other colors great. It does stay on all day and sometimes all night if I'm too lazy to wash my face before bed. My favorite colors are sugar peach, coffee buzz and bamboost. I have dark brown eyes and dark brown hair. I have pale skin so these colors work for me. I have tried the storm surge-too gray, perkle-looks like my eyes are bruised, go go espresso is way too dark for me. GingerZing is great for the evening since it has more gold shimmer to it. I used to not wear any eyeshadow except for Origins underwear for lids so I wanted something easy to apply. This is the best I have ever found.

Rated 3 out of 5 by TeachSci from A Step Backward I loved Underwear for Lids and I am sure this product is just as great as looking good and lasting all day. However, the thing that made me keep going back for more Underwear for Lids was the ease of application. I did not have to stick my fingers in it and get gunk under my nails (which I keep short, so I can't imagine the frustration of users with long nails). I also did not have to worry about the fact that is was unhygienic to use my fingers to apply eye makeup. Please bring back the old applicator! Please! I am going to run out of the huge supply I purchased when I found out about this product change!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Onion1 from Just okay I have been on an Origins kick recently buying all sorts of Origins products. My first dip into their make up line was this cream eye shadow in GingerZing. The best way I can describe this color is "flesh" with a little dab of metallic sheen. I was disappointed immediately when I saw the color, I was hoping for something brighter and/or more shimmery. Regardless, I decided to give it a try for a couple days. It does go on very easily with your finger and sets quickly. I have not found it to be a "long lasting" product and it does crease in my eyes. Because of the color, the price and the lack of all day wear, I will be returning it. I think there are better eye products out there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by trevol from Fabulous! I absolutely love these shadows! I have Storm Surge (perfect matte gray), Bamboost (an interesting light brown/mauve matte), Coffee Buzz (tan with subtle shimmer) & Perkle (light lavender/gray with subtle shimmer). These look great on their own or layered. Perkle & Storm Surge are great for a liner below the eye to make a pretty smokey eye even without any eyeliner for a casual look. All so pretty & they really do make my blue eyes pop. I'm getting Sugar Peach then probably every other color next..

Rated 1 out of 5 by Eula from Very disappointed once again I have been using the Underwear for Lids for years. I CANNOT use any other eyeshadow as it makes my eyelids look creppy. Origins discontinued the "Underwear" once before and now they've done it again. It is the ONLY thing I can use as a cover up for my dark circles AND as a primer for my Origins eyeliner. Now, I have to call some company that supplies discontinued products to get my Origins product. Why would you discontinue a product that is obviously loved by many customers. I, for one, would love it if you would bring that product back. Thanks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by stauggirl from Stays on all day I have used this cream eyeshadow in the past in the color storm sturge and and perkle. Love them. They stay on all day and those colors are matte and not shimmery at all. I recently ordered the ginger zing color and it turned out to be a yellow gold with lots of shimmer/sparkle. I am returning it for the khaki kick and hope that color will be a matte. I wish Origins would give a better description of each color. Each color should have a description next to it and also whether it is a matte, shimmer or sparkle. For instance, I have been curious about the color Bamboost. Is it brown, purple? You really can not tell on the monitor. A description would be helpful . Now I have to pay for return shipping for a color I would have never purchased had I known in was sparkly and gold. Love your products but wish they had better descriptions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by WL from great cream eye shadow Finding a quality cream eyeshadow is hard to find in stores where powder shadows reign. I have dry eyes and wanted to switch to a cream shadow and I am so glad I found this product. I bought the coffee buzz and ginger peach. They glide on smoothly and blend beautifully and the effect is very natural. I will be buying one of the darker colors in the future for a more defined, dramatic look. I recommend using an eye shadow brush designed for cream shadows or a disposable eye shadow applicator, one end for applying the color and the other end designed for blending. The latter is what I use and these are available in beauty supply stores. There is a bit of a shimmer to these eye shadows but the effect is subtle. Maybe Origins would consider a matte product in the future for those who want no shimmer at all.
