Additional Information
The DW2171 Access Steam 1600-Watt Iron has been specially designed to combine ease and efficiency. Select the type of fabric and the iron will automatically adjust the temperature and steam in accordance. In addition to a 300-microhole stainless-steel soleplate, the lightweight iron features a precision tip to access the most difficult areas and a vertical steam to help remove the wrinkles from hanging garments and drapes. The auto-steam thermostat determines the appropriate amount of steam and temperature of the fabric and the vertical steam removes wrinkles from hanging garments and drapes. A built-in anti-calc system removes impurities, ensuring long-lasting, clean steam and the anti drip system prevents water leakage when the iron has not reached its optimal temperature. Access Steam Iron DW2171 is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 106.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from highest temp is not very hot Have had this iron for a month and when set at highest temp setting it is only lukewarm. Love how lightweight it is and the steam is more than sufficient.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best iron I have ever owned! Love, love, love this iron! In the past, so many of my irons wouldn't steam as you were ironing, This iron fogs up my glasses it steams so much! It is easy to use and lightweight! Oh, did I say I love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product This is my third Rowenta product of the same model. I love it because it has over 300 holes for steaming. My last iron (which I dropped 3x) lasted five years. Understand that I iron everything, even sheets. I put clothes items in a plastic bag and place in the refrigerator freezer for 20 minutes or so. When I go to iron, the steam iron just glides over the cool fabric. It's so easy, it's fabulous. I never put away my iron or ironing board - they are always at the ready. Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm a quilter, and love the Rowenta iron that I purchased. I am a quilter and I love the steam features on the iron. The iron presses the seams on my pieces perfectly. Best iron I ever had.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I would not purchase this particular iron again I purchased a rowenta prior to this one and it was a much better iron than this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Quality I love this iron. Expected nothing less from Rowenta

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Maybe. I loved my Rowenta iron until it burst into flames where the cord is attached to the iron & actually burned a hole in my ironing board cover. Since I had really liked my Rowenta I of course bought another. I wasn't too happy that the cord style was the same as my other iron but what I like least is the location of the spray button on the handle. Everytime I iron my hand has a tendency to slip to the spray button.............

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I probably would purchase this iron again I like the feel of it when ironing; the tip goes smoothly around buttons etc. The one thing that bothers me is the instruction page; it does not define the features well; for instance, where should the lever be if I want steam. The storage lever is well-marked as well as the burst of steam but what is the inbetween? This may be a dumb question but have had many Rowenta's in the past and they were very simple to figure out.
