Rated 4 out of 5 by k from A great tiny living iron for travel or home This is a great and compact size for a travel iron. it also works really well as a day-to-day iron, but you need to be very meticulous about its upkeep for it to stay out-of-the-box new. - works as iron and vertical steamer for clothes - heats quickly (about 2 mins for cotton setting) - ironing plate is very effective and easy to keep clean - weight is good - pouch for storage is useful - has 2 voltages Unique things to consider: - needs to be emptied of water and dry before put away - you should use tap water, not distilled or other - does not hold a lot of water (about a cup total) - there is no off switch; you need to unplug to turn it off

Rated 1 out of 5 by Dissatisfied customer from Don't buy this one Flaw #1 with the Rowenta travel iron - handle not sturdy. At a quilting meeting, I accidentally broke the handle of a friend's Rowenta travel iron by pushing a bit too hard on the handle. So, I purchased a Rowenta travel iron as a replacement. Flaw #2 - reservoir leaks. Brand new, right out of the box, the iron leaked water all over the place. (I'm going to ask my friend if I can purchase another brand as a replacement for her.) I also used another friend's Rowenta full size iron, and hers leaked everywhere as well! With this poor quality, I would never purchase this brand! If you're considering purchasing this travel iron, read reviews for other brands....you'll find other brands get higher reviews.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Twinkle toes from Never again!! Bought my first compact travel iron in May 2016 because i quilt and it was a great size. Loved it but the handle broke within 6 months so I purchased another one and it just stopped heating up one year later. I work at a quilt store so I started asking customers and friends about the iron and everyone I spoke to had the same experience! Either the handle broke or it just stopped heating!! I have moved over to the Steamfast Travel iron and am very happy so far. I hope Rowena fixes the problems soon!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Mel from Was good while it lasted While the iron worked it was great. Heated very quickly, Excellent steam production. I bought this so I'd have a small easy to use iron for pressing my small sewing projects. First 3 times it worked fantastic! Today I tried to use it and it's not heating properly. It's just not producing steam on it's own - if I use the button I can get it to steam but I can't use it for simple steam ironing. I'm going to s see if I have the receipt so I can return it. Really disappointed, I expected much better quality from this brand. Hopefully I can find the receipt to return it since I haven't even had it a month. I checked the warranty but they will only repair, with the closest authorize facility in NJ. No thanks, I'm not paying to mail it to them, spent enough money the first time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Fran B from Rowenta....never again! I purchased this iron on a recommendation by a friend. I bought thus iron to use at workshops, classes and retreats. First thing out of the box, the heating element did not work so I could never use it as a steam iron. I used it as a dry iron and it worked just fine, but kind of a waste of all these steam holes on the sole plate. The last time I used it, it started to crackle and make noise. The next thing I knew it was smoking and burned itself out. The iron no longer works at all. The same thing happened to someone else I know. That person bought another one. Rowena has a good reputation, but I don't think the product is as good as perhaps it once was. I had another Rowena iron that was not supissed to leak, but it did. Two Riwenta irons unhappy with both. These irons are not cheap, I will not buy another one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by C. Wilson from Folding Handle Failure I have purchased two of these irons. I lone almost everything about them; light, compact, stainless soleplate. Both irons have had the handle collapse under light pressure/use. I have attempted to contact the only authorized repair facility in my state and have no response from them via email or telephone messages left. I am very disappointed in the repeated handle failure and lack of service availability. These were not inexpensive irons.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Sandi from Rowenta Dry Irons I have four irons and all of them have cord problems. It is just my husband and I. This has to be a design issue. I keep buying them because I like the iron. Someone please advise if you are having the same issue. Thanks
