Focus Excel Iron DW5260 is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent model PROS: Produces a good amount of vapor. I like the iron's weight. Some may find it too heavy, but an iron can't be too light or the user will need to exert more force. The pointy front allows me to reach every nook and cranny of my clothes. The power cable is a bit longer than in other models, making it easier to use. CONS: The iron should prominently recommend the use of distilled water. In places like Pittsburgh, the water is very hard and with time it will clog the vapor tubes. I miss a water dispenser. It is difficult to load water into the iron without making it wet. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product, Better than expected I went from using an iron I've had for over 11 years to this Rowenta product. What a difference! Something I didn't even know I needed in my life! It has a large soleplate and it heats up FAST. The hot steam works well, preventing me from needing to iron over the same area twice (unlike my old iron). The tip of the iron gets into detailed areas well which is helpful. I haven't noticed any of the water leaking out of the holes which happened frequently with my previous iron (NOT a Rowenta product). You can easily see how much water is remaining in the iron. Overall very happy with this product and would recommend. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome new iron! I've been using an old iron and was thrilled to receive this to sample! The visible water tank window made it easy to see water levels while filling and using it! The handle was the most comfortable I've ever used. I was amazed by the steam output and the results were incredible, especially with the precision tip. I was able to get a much nicer result with this iron than any other past irons. My favorite part was how I could iron my curtains while hanging!!! Now my curtains will stay wrinkle free because I will no longer dread ironing them. Best iron yet! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Iron! I was very happy with the Rowenta Focus Excel DW5260 Iron I received in exchange for my honest feedback. It worked very well. It was hot in seconds and it did a great job ironing. It ironed out the wrinkles very quick. I was very happy because I didn't have to keep going over and over the same area. It also does a great job steaming. I had a table covering that couldn't be ironed so I steamed it with the iron and it really worked very well. I would definitely recommend this Rowenta Iron and would definitely buy it as well. Works great! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Iron I have owned many irons and this product by far is the best. It had some weight to it which is nice that you don't have to do much work to get the wrinkles out. I loved that it heats up quickly. It has a nice tip that gets in between buttons nicely and works great on collars. The plate with plenty of holes for steam works great on hanging curtains and the water spout does not leak. The water is easy to fill and can easily see if you need to refill. This is a great product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall great iron This iron is really simple, easy and effective. The steam quickly gets wrinkles out and helps me iron much faster than my previous iron. When you have a family of 4 speed and accuracy are important and that is where this iron shines. My only con for this is that there is no self clean function ... when you have hard water that is definitely a nice to have as most of us just fill from the tap. Other than that it really is a great iron. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Iron I've ever used If you have the money for this higher-end iron, you can't go wrong with this model. I iron my work clothes daily and this iron works fast. 400 holes in plate create lots of steam and make quick work of any job. It heats up fast too! It comes with impressive safety features and an anti-scaling technology (though I haven't had it long enough to know what/how it works). I haven't tried it yet but the box says it works vertically too. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fast warmup but not perfect CONS: It's a little heavy compared to other irons, due to the stainless steel plate. The slot to hold the handle is snug, it's not that comfortable over a long period of time. The cord could be a little longer. The pilot light to indicate it's warming up can be hard to locate and it's a bit difficult to turn the dial, as well as figuring out which setting is being used. The buttons for spray and steam are hard to push with your thumb while ironing. PROS: It warms up super fast. No waiting here. It is heavy but also built well and should last heavy usage. It sits well on its heel. It has a big capacity for water and the spray and steam function work well. It's attractive. But I wouldn't buy it again because there are other irons that do the job a bit better. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
