tight pointy toesI bought these shoes for doing carpenter/construction work, i.e. on my feet all day with lots of body/foot compressions. I wanted a wide and comfortable shoe so I went for size 13 (half size too big) and the advertised extra wide. This shoe seemed to fit the requirements, but in reality it is not wide enough, especially in the toe area. In fact, for some inane reason the toes are manufactured to come to somewhat of a point, and after several hours on my feet I start to feel the width compression. I'm hoping that after a break-in period of a couple of months these shoes relax a bit and ease off on the toe compression.

My husband LOVES his new work shoes!I ordered these shoes for my husband to work in and finding shoes comfortable for him is kind of difficult at times because he has a wide foot and has to wear inserts ( has had heel spurs in the past). These shoes were described as relaxed fit. Well he loves them and since they came with memory foam in them he doesn't need to wear his inserts in the Skechers!!!

Unhappy with quality, Frank from
Shoes need improvement.I use these shoes every day. I like the look and feel. I was disappointed when the left shoe split open at the sole and ripped down the side. I was told "that happens with shoes sometimes". The second pair I just started wearing for two weeks now, show signs that the stitching is starting to come apart on one of the shoes. Both issues were with the left shoes. I would have a hard time recommending your product to my friends or my employees.

durability issuesI ordered these shoes June 3rd. It is now technically July 22nd and my soles are torn to mid arch on both shoes. The last pair of sketchers work shoes I received as a Christmas present lasted for 6 months. There is absolutely no stitching holding th sole and shoe together. They seem to just by glued on. I do tend to work harder than most and my shoes do get wet quite often but never have I had a pair of shoes give up so quickly. If the next pair I buy don't last at least 3months I'm going back to shoes for crews.

Very StiffI bought these because I hoped they would be warmer in the winter weather and would keep my feet drier in the wet. These shoes are very heavy and hard. I do not recommend you try to run in these shoes. I run for work, valet parking cars and these shoes hurt my entire body. I have had other sketchers that are awesome and make me feel like I have no shoes on at all. They are awesome. These are like the New Balance shoes that used to be good and are terrible now. Hope this helps.

They don't last!I am a auto tech by trade and I need non slip shoes for work and about 3 months ago I grabbed a pair of these because they were comfortable and looked well built, wow was I wrong these things started falling apart in the first month I wore them! I don't know why they call these "work" shoes because they didn't last a month

LOVE these shoesThis is my second pair of these shoes, not because the firs pair wore out in the past year but because I wanted to be certain I could get the same shoe. They are comfortable, even when standing on a concrete floor for 8 hours. I'm cooking all day and often I walk 2.7 miles to work in these.

Where is the relaxed fit?Despite being labeled as "relaxed fit" these feel like they run small to size (about 1/2 size). After a few weeks of wear the do seem to have worn in and are no longer uncomfortably tight. I wear them around the office at work and they seem to do well in that environment. When walking at lunch the tread tends to pick up small rocks that can be quite annoying, these should be used inside only. Traction is good under most all conditions.
