1883 First Year of Issue Liberty Nickel Gold Tone Money Clip
The Liberty Head Nickel was first minted in 1883 and is composed of copper and nickel. The obverse shows Liberty wearing a coronet and wreath and the reverse is a V representing the Roman numeral 5 and a wreath. The design was created by Charles Barber. The first year of issue is handsomely displayed in a gold tone money clip. The money clip is approximately 1.88-in. long. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
