Great for multiple season in the south
I am 4'5 and bought the blue version. I bought in a 1X & it fits perfect. It is definitely maxi length & I wore today with a brown boot. Could easily be switched to sandals. Fabric is light. I did try on 1 size larger & it was huge! So, I am hoping it does not shrink because it fits perfect now. My only issue is the V in the front is very low & I had to wear something under to be able to wear to work. Just out and about it would be fine.

Too short, too billowy
I am giving this two stars because the material is very soft and the print is flattering on this version (not so much on the blue because the mismatched panels enhance the 'wideness' highlighted by the dress). Sadly, it's pretty large and personally, I needed to size down at least two sizes before it looked less voluminous. Unfortunately, the brand has made this maxi more a mid-calf (about tea length on me and I'm 5'4" for reference) and that combined with the excess of material made it even more unflattering. I know some ladies do not like the super-long maxi (guessing that's why they shortened the maxi based on customer feedback). However, I sized down in last year's evolution and the length was perfect (to the floor) while the fullness decreased. Sadly, this one is going back.
