Ripoff!!!
Only lasts a few months!! I bought this over the summer and it worked well for six months, but then it broke and the umbrella fell apart. I never used it improperly and treated it very well, but the spring inside just came out and we were unable to fix it. So, I used the lifetime warranty and paid $5 for another umbrella, thinking they would ship me the exact same one... they did NOT!! They sent the regular black umbrella that is not strong wind resistant and is a cheaper version. They guaranteed this umbrella to last "a lifetime" and when it's defective, they make you pay $5 and don't even send the same one back. Ripoff!!!!

Very Disappointed
About 7-8 years ago I was gifted my first Totes umbrella, it finally died 3 weeks ago. So I thought "Since it lasted for so long, I'll get another. I used this umbrella 2 times. Yes, only 2 times! Those 2 times were spent using it to protect my fair skin from the sun for 1 hour at a time. The 2nd time I used it, a wind gust of MAYBE 20mph flipped it backwards and broke 2 of the stem pieces at the edge of the umbrella. Needless to say, I am quite disappointed in this product considering it is advertised to withstand 70 mph winds. Poor quality and false advertisement! I would not recommend this product to anyone.
