Belk® Market Hidden Gift Card 2026 In-Store Scavenger Hunt Terms & Conditions

The Challenge, Challenge Period and Sponsor: The “Belk Market Hidden Gift Card 2026 In-Store Scavenger Hunt (the “Challenge”) is sponsored by Belk, Inc., 2801 W. Tyvola Road, Charlotte, NC 28217 (“Sponsor”).Belk will have one (1) blue bag with a ribbon hidden, per participating Belk store, that can be used to claim gift cards on February 28, 2026 during regular store hours, commencing at 10:00 am Eastern Time and ending at 9:00 pm Eastern Time (the “Challenge”). The Blue Bag can be discovered on a first to find, first to win basis in each participating store limited to one (1) blue bag per household. The Challenge will end at the close of the participating Belk stores’ regular hours on February 28, 2026. All blue bags must be submitted/claimed prior to the close of the store’s regular hours that day. Unclaimed blue bags will not result in gift cards being provided for those blue bags.

  1. Who is Eligible to Participate: Only US residents 18 or older may participate in the Challenge and claim a gift card. If a child finds the blue bag, the associated gift card must be claimed by the child’s parent or legal guardian. Employees or representatives of Sponsor, including their immediate families may not participate in this Challenge. Sponsor personnel may request to view the claimant’s driver’s license to verify age and residence or otherwise verify eligibility. By participating in this Challenge, all participants represent that they did not travel to a participating Belk store solely to do so.

  2. Participating Belk Stores: 1) Clarksville, Tennessee at Governor’s Square, 2) Greeneville, Tennessee at Greeneville Commons and 3) Sherman, Texas at Sherman Town Center.

  3. How to Play: Visit one of the Participating Belk Stores and have a look around! The blue bag may be found (hidden) anywhere in the store. You will recognize the blue bag as a participating blue bag in this Challenge because Belk stores don’t normally carry blue bags for sale and the blue bag will display a blue ribbon along with a voucher inside that is to be used to claim the gift card with the value of $100.00. Once you have located the blue bag, bring the blue bag to the checkout/register where it may be exchanged for a Belk gift card in the value stated on voucher in the blue bag after a Belk representative verifies eligibility to claim the gift card. Actual gift cards are not present in the blue bags. Sponsor is not responsible if the blue bags are relocated, lost or stolen in the course of this Challenge. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who acts in a rowdy, disruptive, argumentative, or unsportsmanlike manner in the course of the Challenge from receiving a gift card, and may redistribute the blue bag associated with a disqualified participant in such event, allow a participant reasonably determined to have first located the blue bag to claim the applicable gift card, or take the blue bag at issue out of the Challenge. All decisions of Sponsor in connection with the Challenge shall be final and binding on participants. In the event events beyond the control of Sponsor prevent the administration of the Challenge as described in these terms, Sponsor may suspend, postpone, or cancel the Challenge in whole or in part. “Fake” blue bags not placed by Sponsor will not be accepted.

  4. Gift Cards: Each participating Belk store will have only 1 blue bag available to be found and exchanged for a gift card in the value of $100. The 1 blue bag per store will contain a voucher inside with the gift card value available for each blue bag. The following amounts will be available (per store).

    • One (1) blue bag with a $100 value. The face value of each gift card is its approximate retail value. No more than the stated number of one gift card per store will be available.

    Belk gift cards are subject to the terms and conditions described on the card and the Belk Gift Card and Promotional Card Terms and Conditions located at: https://www.belk.com/customer-service/terms-of-use/ /. They may be redeemed at any Belk location (not limited to participating Belk stores) and at belk.com online. Sponsor will not replace lost or stolen gift cards. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash and have no independent cash value. Odds of winning a gift card depend on the number of participants, per participating Belk store.

  5. Privacy and Publicity: By submitting an entry, participant consents to the collection, use, and disclosure by Sponsor of the information contained therein in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. By entering the Challenge and/or accepting a prize, participant grants Sponsor and/or Sponsor’s designee the perpetual right to use participant’s or participant’s child’s (as applicable) name, voice, image, biographical information, photos and/or likeness, and statements for Challenge, trade, commercial, advertising, and publicity purposes, at any time or times, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide, without notice, review, or approval, and without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

  6. Release, Limitations of Liability, and Indemnity: Sponsor will conduct background checks on the potential winner. By submitting a Participant Comment You agree to (a) submit to a background check, in accordance with applicable laws, and execute all documents required by Sponsor in connection with such background check; (b) authorize Sponsor to secure information about You from any current or er employers, associates, family members, educational institutions, government agencies, credit reporting agencies, and any references You provide or that are developed in the course of such investigation; (c) irrevocably authorize such parties to provide information concerning You to Sponsor; and (d) authorize Sponsor to investigate and obtain copies of Your employment records (if applicable) and governmental records, including but not limited to, any motor vehicle records, criminal records, and credit and/or consumer report(s). If a potential winner does not, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, pass the background check, Sponsor will select an alternate potential winner in his/her place according to the judging criteria.

  7. Disputes and Mandatory Arbitration: Except where prohibited, by participating in this Challenge, participant agrees that the Challenge is governed by, and will be construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of North Carolina, and the forum and venue for any dispute shall be in Charlotte, North Carolina. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of any participant and/or Sponsor, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without reference to conflict of laws principles. If any provision(s) of these Official Rules shall be held to be invalid, illegal, unenforceable, or in conflict with the law of any jurisdiction, the validity, legality, and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired thereby.

    Participant and Sponsor agree that, if the controversy or claim is not otherwise resolved through direct discussions or mediation, it shall then be resolved by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association, in accordance with its Arbitration Rules and Procedures or subsequent versions thereof (“AAA Rules”). The AAA Rules for selection of an arbitrator shall be followed, except that the arbitrator shall be experienced and licensed to practice law in the State of North Carolina.

    Participant also agrees that (a) the statute of limitations for asserting any claims shall be a period of one (1) year from the end date of the Challenge Period; and (b) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of actions arising out of or connected with the Challenge or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.

  8. Additional Terms: This Challenge is sponsored by Belk, Inc., 2801 W. Tyvola Road, Charlotte, NC 28217. By participating in it, each participant releases Sponsor, its stores and personnel from any liability, loss, damage, or death that may arise from such participation, or use or misuse of a gift card claimed in the Challenge. A list of winners may be requested by writing Sponsor at the address above to the attention of Senior Director, Events, not later than June 1, 2026.
