Rated 5 out of 5 by Derrick's Mommy from Great puzzle! My 3 year old son loves this puzzle. He learned all the capitals and states in a month. If we give him a state he'll give us the capital. If we give him a capital he'll give us the state. It was absolutely amazing that he could learn all 50 states in such a short time. It was so much fun for him to learn. He plans on sharing this puzzle with his little sister when she gets a little older. Fabulous puzzle!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Linda from My daughter loves this item My daughter is a little over 2 yrs old and she loves this puzzle. My husband and I got this for her since she loves puzzles and thought it would be educational. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with children in the 3-7 yr old range! It is durable, interactive, educational and fun.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SB from 4 year old loves it! My 4 & 6 year old really enjoy this puzzle. My 4 year old requests to work puzzle over and over again. They have both picked up memorizing the states quickly and easily. The board is sensitive and will go off if you put wrong state on it, which is not a huge deal if you are working puzzle with them. The only thing I don't like is they combined several states(I.e KY/TN, SC/GA and all the tiny states together on one piece.) That is confusing to little ones as they don't realize they are different states as its all on 1 piece. That was disappointing

Rated 4 out of 5 by Barbara from Great educational tool Love your puzzles, they are very durable and it is not a struggle to keep the pieces together. The only downfall I find with this puzzle is that all the states are not a separate piece. It would be more effective for education if they were all separate.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Jackie from sounds don't work We just got this puzzle as a gift, unfortunately with no gift receipt. we have other melissa and doug puzzles that my son loves. I love the concept of this puzzle as it would be a great learning tool for my 2 year old son, and he loves when his other puzzles talk to him and make sounds. I put the batteries in this one and got nothing. He is bored with it because it does not make any noises. He is more entertained with dumping the pieces on the ground to hear them make some kind of noise. If I could actually get the sound to work on this toy, it would have gotten a higher rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mom from Learning on their own My six year old learned all the capitals and states without any effort. He just really enjoyed working on the puzzle. As he added the pieces, he heard the state and capital name and before long, he knew all of them to my surprise. I wish there were other puzzles like this for older children (countries & capitals, Geography, science, etc.)

Rated 2 out of 5 by Renee from Would not recommend this puzzle. The puzzle pieces were not like I thought they would be. Some of the states were stuck together. When a child is learning the states, they need to put each puzzle piece in separately.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Abby's Mom from Favorite Puzzle We purchased this puzzle for my daughter's 3rd birthday. This has become her favorite puzzle and toy. We played with her and helped her identify the states and where they go. She's owned the puzzle for about 3 months now and can put it together by herself and can verbally identify about 90% of the states. She has trouble with the New England states where CT, NH, VT, MD, DE, NJ, RI are comblined on one piece.
